Our Story

After The one Church started in 2003 by Leroy and Diana Wiese. At that time it started as Freedom Assembly.  At first the church started out of their home and quickly it started to grow and eventually moved to Arizona City Elementary School.  During that time it grew from 5 people to over 100 people. Also in that time the church was able to raise 1 Million dollars for the future building of a home.  
In 2011 the building was completed, and we were able to move into a 16,000 SQF facility that God blessed us with. 

Since than our main focus has been to reach the lost and have a church that families love to attend. The church was led by Pastor Tim McCain until 2022. In 2022 after much prayer and deliberation Pastor Tony and Pastor Tim decided to switch roles.  Pastor Tony, who was the previous Executive Pastor, became the lead Pastor and Pastor Tim took the Executive Pastor role. They have been working together for 10 years and felt like God was calling this change in the church, 

Today we are known as After the One church and our mission is simple. We are called to have a relationship with the one true God, Come to know his true unending love, and to Go After the one lost soul.
Our focus is to reach the lost souls of Arizona City and to see people come to know the love of Christ. WE love the community and want to show them the love which we are saved by is the same love that is available to them.
